Excess Baggage: If this group will be accompanied by a large number of excess baggage (e.g.,

band instruments, hockey equipment bags), please contact Delta's Group Desk at the numbers

given above. If travel includes Delta Connection Carriers, in some cases excess baggage may

not be able to be carried on the same flight as the group.

Group Check-in: Groups may either check in individually or be checked in by the group leader,

and both online check-in and kiosk check-in is available for the group. A simple registration

process is required to enable the group leader to check in the group. Please call the Delta Group

and Specialty Sales Center for further instructions.

Deposit Policy:

 Please pay the deposit timely to avoid cancellation

o If the Deposit Received amount is smaller than the Total Deposit Due, an

additional deposit in the amount of the difference is due on the date specified

 If the deposit is not received by 12SEP2019 seats will be released without notification

 If you wish to ticket in lieu of deposit prior to the deposit due date, send an email to

GroupSp[email protected] to get the name submission document. In the subject line

put:

 Note that once tickets are issued they are non-refundable

 Travel agency deposits must be paid by a single MCO, 3rd party credit card or wire

transfer. Deposits will be returned after the group's departure date.

 Non-agency deposits must be paid by a wire transfer or single credit card. Debit cards

and checks are not accepted. The deposit may either be applied toward final ticketing

or refunded to the original form of payment

 Deposits will be refunded for seat cancellations prior to the last day to cancel/reduce

without charge. Full deposits will be retained subject to non-utilization penalties after

that date

 After the last day to cancel/reduce without charge, no downgrades of fares are allowed

Ticketing Policy:

 Once tickets are issued they are nonrefundable

o After ticketing, one free name change is permitted for 50% of the group up to 48

hours prior to departure,

o $150.00 USD fee for each additional name change applies and is subject to

change

 All tickets must be issued on 006 ticket stock

 Your Base Fare, Carrier Imposed Surcharge (Q) and YQ/YR rates are guaranteed at the

time of Booking in the currency as quoted. At the time of Ticket Issuance, all other taxes

will be recalculated and Base Fare will be converted at the current exchange rate. The

Total Fare will be in the selling country currency.

 Any changes of itinerary will require a renegotiation of fare and terms

 Any seats without names must be cancelled in order to complete the ticketing process

 For Travel Agency Bookings:

o Travel agents must issue their own tickets

o Passive bookings of group itineraries must match segments already existing in

Delta's reservations system

o Passive booking of group itineraries prior to the date of ticketing is not

permitted

o Tickets must be issued with the base fare in the currency of the country of origin

o At the time of ticketing you will receive the total group fare calculation with which

to issue the ticket.

o All tickets on the group block must be issued at the same time.

o All bulk tickets must be reissued by the ticketing agency

 For Non Travel Agency Bookings

o All group tickets will be issued electronically by Delta Air Lines. Your current

fare and terms are based on Delta issuing your tickets

o If you elect to have your tickets issued by a Travel Agency, the fare and terms

are subject to renegotiation

Tour Conductor Policy:

Tour conductor tickets are not offered as part of the fare negotiation. Tour conductors will be

considered based on the following:

Tour Conductors (TC) are offered upon request only, and must be requested at the Time of

Booking (and will be documented).

If the Tour Conductor ticket is not requested at the time of booking, any TC request is subject to

availability of inventory.

The group must consist of at least 30 paid passengers traveling on adult fares (30 paid tickets

and the Tour conductor, if approved by Delta, would be the 31st ticket).

Travel agents must also issue Tour Conductor tickets once approved by Delta as a bulk ticket by

the Ticketing Deadline.

The Tour Conductor is required to pay applicable taxes.

The Tour Conductor may deviate from the group based on the deviation policy previously noted.

The Tour Conductor will be split from the record with the lowest fare.

Tour Conductors must travel in coach.

Booking with travel to Cuba:

Travel to Cuba involves special governmental requirements that must be met by all passengers

travelling on a US-based carrier. These include:

1) OFAC Form: Passengers travelling to Cuba, regardless of nationality, must qualify

under 1 of 12 categories as set forth by OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) of the

United States Department of Treasury.

Public Performances, Athletic Events &

Exhibitions

Activities of Private Foundations or

Research/Educational Institutes

Support for the Cuban People

OFAC forms will be completed by each individual passenger at the departure gate of the

gateway city to Cuba, unless advised otherwise by Delta.

2) Cuban Tourist / Visa Card: Passengers travelling to Cuba are required, in addition to a

valid passport with a minimum validity of six months after departure, to have a tourist

card or visa for entry into Cuba.

If the group is travelling for purposes not eligible for a tourist/visa card, and need a

specialized visa issued by the Cuban government, the passengers will not be required to

purchase a tourist/visa card, but will need to present the appropriate entry documents to

Cuba to Delta personnel, if requested.

3) Cuban Medical Insurance: Passengers travelling to Cuba are required to have

temporary medical insurance by the Cuban government. This insurance is included in

the fare at a cost of $25.00USD per passenger, and covers a maximum stay of 30

(thirty) days; additional coverage will need to be purchased in Cuba with an authorized

insurance provider.

Group Payment Options:

For Non-Travel Agency Bookings:

 Acceptable forms of payment are wire transfer and credit card.

o Please note that debit cards are not accepted for payment of either deposit

or final ticketing.

Wire Transfer Instructions:

 Wire transfers submitted for all payments must be issued in U.S. funds.

 Failure to include the inquiry number or record locator could result in the cancellation of

the group space.

o Delta assumes no liability, including the reinstatement of the group space or

waiver of any fare increase that might result, for failure to identify the inquiry

number or record locator on the wire transfer.
